Chanukah vs. Hanukkah
It’s always a great mystery. How do we transliterate this Hebrew word into Latin letters without some one pronouncing the first letter like the “ch” in “church” or the “h” in “hay is for horses”? And how do we get people to pronounce our Hebrew letter “Het” at the beginning of the word without sounding like they are coughing up phlegm?
